As Engineering Manager, you will lead the team responsible for the mechanical design and development of Koenigsegg’s combustion engines. From engine concepts and detailed component design to validation and production readiness, your team develops some of the most advanced high-performance engine hardware in the automotive world.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will set direction, develop people and create the conditions for the team to deliver at its best — while staying close to the technology and engineering challenges.

What you will do:

  • Lead and develop the Engine Development team, fostering technical excellence, ownership and collaboration.
  • Set technical direction and priorities together with the team and stakeholders across R&D.
  • Own the team’s delivery across engine design, validation, industrialisation and production support.
  • Guide the development of engine systems and components to meet targets for performance, durability, weight, quality and manufacturability.
  • Ensure robust engineering quality through design reviews, analysis, testing and root-cause investigations.
  • Plan resources and competences across development projects.
  • Work cross-functionally to solve complex challenges spanning design, simulation, testing, engine control and manufacturing.
