Role Details

WithSecure is seeking an experienced, hands-on Senior Salesforce Developer to lead the architecture, development, and evolution of our business-critical Salesforce platform. This is a senior-level position within our internal technology team, combining deep Salesforce engineering expertise with proficiency in modern AI tooling including Claude, GitHub Copilot, and Cursor.

You will design and deliver secure, scalable solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Agentforce Revenue Management—supporting our lead-to-cash value chain, including sales, marketing, pricing, contracting, subscription management, billing, and customer support. You will set technical direction, strengthen delivery practices, mentor developers, and ensure solutions align with our architecture, security standards, and business priorities.

Key Responsibilities

AI-Enabled Engineering

• Evaluate and introduce AI tools (Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) where they improve design, implementation, testing, documentation, and delivery workflows.
• Define reusable prompting, context-management, and agentic-workflow patterns for consistent, effective AI use across the Salesforce lifecycle.
• Design secure integrations with external LLMs through approved APIs and enterprise patterns.
• Apply RAG, evaluation, and orchestration techniques where they create clear business or engineering value.
• Establish practical controls for access, sensitive data, prompt handling, auditability, and validation of AI-generated work.

Core Salesforce Engineering

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Agentforce Revenue Management (including CPQ, subscription management, and billing).
• Translate complex lead-to-cash, service, pricing, and commercial requirements into scalable data models, Apex services, Lightning Web Components, and Flow solutions.
• Build robust REST/SOAP integrations and event-driven solutions using Platform Events, Change Data Capture, and established enterprise patterns.
• Connect Salesforce with ERP, HR, middleware, and cloud platforms (MuleSoft, Kafka, Workday, AWS, enterprise databases).
• Optimize performance, governor-limit usage, data storage, API consumption, and AI token costs while balancing lifecycle cost and maintainability.
• Own technical quality through automated testing, observability, documentation, and pragmatic technical-debt management.

Architecture, Risk, and Delivery

• Lead or contribute to solution and platform architecture, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and security principles.
• Partner with product owners, architects, security specialists, and business stakeholders to create dependable end-to-end data and process flows.
• Identify dependencies, architectural risks, data-quality concerns, and operational constraints early, with proportionate mitigation plans.
• Balance business value, delivery speed, implementation cost, security risk, and platform sustainability in technical decisions.

Technical Leadership and Engineering Productivity

• Make GitHub the dependable source of truth for Salesforce development—clear repositories, branching conventions, pull-request governance, CODEOWNERS, and review requirements.
• Design and maintain GitHub Actions workflows for Salesforce DX validation, automated testing, code-quality checks, security scanning, deployment approvals, and release promotion.
• Define environment, secret-management, rollback, and release-governance practices that support traceable, repeatable deployments.
• Establish practical standards for AI-assisted development tools, including review gates that validate AI-generated code for correctness, security, performance, and maintainability.
• Lead code and design reviews, maintain technical documentation, and create reusable patterns.
• Mentor senior and mid-level developers, support estimation and planning, and raise the technical bar.

What Are We Looking For

Essential Experience

• 8+ years of professional software development; 5+ years hands-on Salesforce development (Apex, LWC, Flow, SOQL/SOSL, integrations).
• Demonstrated senior-level experience delivering enterprise solutions, contributing to technical direction, and supporting other engineers.
• Hands-on experience designing or implementing AI/ML, generative AI, vector-search, or RAG-based solutions (Salesforce-native or integrated).
• Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, sharing and security architecture, governor limits, asynchronous processing, integration patterns, and deployment lifecycle.
• Ability to translate complex business, pricing, service, and data requirements into clear, scalable, maintainable technical designs.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Technical Expertise

• Salesforce platform: Advanced Apex, LWC, Flow and Flow Orchestrator, SOQL/SOSL, REST/SOAP APIs, asynchronous processing, enterprise integration patterns.
• AI-assisted engineering: Hands-on experience with Claude, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or comparable tools—for coding, testing, review, analysis, and documentation.
• AI integration: Prompt engineering, LLM APIs, RAG, vector search, evaluation methods, agentic workflows, secure AI integration.
• Security and governance: Enterprise access controls, data privacy, secure coding, model and prompt governance, auditability, risk-based decision-making.
• GitHub and CI/CD: Salesforce DX, GitHub repositories, pull-request governance, GitHub Actions, automated validation and testing, static analysis (PMD, CodeScan), environment controls, release promotion, deployment monitoring.

• Experience with Agentforce Revenue Management, CPQ, subscription management, billing, or complex B2B pricing models.
• Experience with MuleSoft, Kafka, AWS, Workday, Anthropic APIs, or Azure OpenAI.
• Agile/Scrum delivery experience with participation in cross-team design and planning forums.
• Contribution to open-source projects or community knowledge-sharing (blogs, talks, public repositories).
