Our ambition is to replace the remote control in a modern digital home. Moving there we need to work close together with designers, UX and engineers with different skillsets. Our techstack is built upon modern techniques and architecture like Micro Services in PHP, Node.js, React, Swift and Kotlin.

Today we are 10 developers delivering a high-end product by

  • continuously evaluating our work
  • performing A/B tests
  • verify our code through code reviews
  • work together with mob programming

We believe in responsible and secure teams with high responsibility over product as well as workload and to learn and to teach. Rather than micromanage, our managers do what they do best - helping their employees grow, understand user needs, frame technical strategies and form product visions.

Now we are facing several exiting challenges like expanding to new markets, finding new revenue streams and guiding our users in the streaming jungle in new ways.


This role as fullstack developer emphasizes our web app based on techniques like React and Node.js, hence you need good skills in Javascript and javascript related techniques. As a fullstack developer you have good knowledge in backend related techniques too (our backend is written in PHP with a micro services architecture), but you believe engineering - to solve a problem in a language agnostic and effective way - is more important. Learning new techniques is as natural for you as evolution proceeds.

As important as your will and curiosity to learn is your will to share and enthusiasm about your knowledge. You like to discuss different solutions for both technical, product, organizational and business specific challenges. To separate your role from your person is important in discussions concerning strategy. You understand that the perfect technical solution might have to stand back due to a business wise more profitable solution - even if your role will be to advocate for the technical.

Today you might have the responsibility as a tech lead in a web team or such. Maybe are you a developer in a team aiming to shoulder more responsibility and are ready for the next step in your career.

tv.nu is the biggest linear tv- and streaming guide in Sweden and Norway with over 2 million unique visitors a week. tv.nu is guiding Swedes and Norwegians to watch something - whether it is linear TV or streaming service. Our business model is advertising based with a growing part of affiliate deals.

tv.nu is an autonomous company in the large corporate group Schibsted Media Group with sister companies like Aftonbladet, SvD, Klart.se, Blocket, Lendo, et al. We are about 20 employees sitting close together with other Schibsted Companies in nice premises in central Stockholm.
