Koenigsegg is looking for a hands-on Electronics Design Engineer to develop custom electronic control units for our vehicles.

You will take ownership of ECU development—from requirements and concept through circuit and PCB design, verification and production support. The role combines advanced electronics development with practical testing, problem-solving and close collaboration across engineering and production.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop ECUs from initial concept to production-ready hardware.
  • Define circuit requirements and design specifications.
  • Design analog, digital and power electronic circuits.
  • Select microcontrollers and develop peripheral circuitry.
  • Design communication interfaces and board-level power supplies.
  • Perform PCB layout, stack-up definition and EMC optimisation.
  • Conduct signal and power integrity analyses.
  • Build, test, troubleshoot and validate PCB designs.
  • Contribute to design reviews and DFMEA activities.
  • Mentor and support less-experienced engineers.

Skills & Requirements

You have proven experience in electronics and PCB development, including:

  • Analog, digital and power electronics.
  • Microcontrollers and peripheral circuitry.
  • Digital communication buses.
  • Buck, boost and other board-level power supplies.
  • PCB layout, EMC, signal integrity and power integrity.
  • Altium Designer or comparable development tools.
  • Hands-on hardware testing and debugging.
  • Verification and validation.

You are collaborative, adaptable and comfortable challenging assumptions. You listen to others, welcome constructive feedback and communicate technical challenges early. You take initiative, follow through on commitments and share your knowledge to help the team succeed.
