  • København

Do you have experience with online marketing and social media? Do you thrive in an environment that’s buzzing film quotes and the next upcoming film premiere? Look no further - we are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to work with theatrical film releases in Denmark!

In SF Studios’ Copenhagen office, we are working with both film and TV distribution and production. We are distributing our own productions as well as external productions, ranging from independent films to majors from Warner Brothers and Sony Pictures. We launch around 50 film titles in theatres every year.

Each film title is unique and requires different startegy in positioning, audience and budget and has different competition. Our new Marketing Coordinator will work with all the phases of the launching process; ranging from the initial phase reading manuscripts until the film find its way to Danish theatres.

Main responsibilities

As our marketing coordinator you will work closely with the Danish marketing manager, but you will also be responsible for your own projects and film titles. In your day-to-day work you will be involved in many marketing disciplines, such as:

  • Promotions and partnerships – coordinate agreements and activities.
  • Coordinate theatrical launches.
  • Publicity – manage press materials and press contacts.
  • Social media activities – customize and develop content for social media and afterwards follow up on the activities.
  • Digital marketing – be part of executing Pan-European campaigns and trailer launches.
  • Collaboration - work closely with the production to ensure a succesful launch.

Skills and requirements

To be our perfect match, we believe you:

  • Have a higher education within the marketing field.
  • Have 2-3 years of work experience from a media agency, advertising agency or company that works with FMCG products.
  • Have experience working with online marketing and social media.
  • Are used to working with many stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Are fluent in Danish and English, both written and spoken.

As a person, you are creative and find new ways to establish successful commercial partnerships. You are a true film fantast, but can distinguish your own personal taste from what works commercially. You are a self starter and take ownership for your tasks – from start to the finish line. You have the ability to manage your time and prioritize to make the most value for each individual film title. You are structured and have an analytical mind.

At SF Studios, you will work with highly engaged people with competences ranging from movie production to finance and sales. We are diverse – but the one thing we all have in common is our passion for movies. If you have a great interest for movies – you will feel right at home!

Does this sound like the job for you? Send in your resume and personal letter (in English or Danish) through our website today! Last day to apply is 23rd of April, but we handle applications ongoing.
