Cloud Protection protects Fortune 500 enterprises and government organizations worldwide from malware, phishing, and identity-based attacks in Salesforce. Our work builds on more than 30 years of experience in analyzing malware and defending against advanced threats — expertise few security companies can match.
It's our people who make that possible. Newly independent after years as WithSecure's most autonomous business unit, we combine the focus and speed of a startup with decades of cybersecurity depth. We're a diverse team that values passion, purpose, and genuine wellbeing at work, and we're looking for people who want to set the standard for Salesforce security with us. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
We are looking for a (Senior) Financial Controller to join our team in Helsinki. This is a hands-on role for someone who combines strong technical finance expertise with a builder mentality — comfortable rolling up their sleeves, improving processes, and working across multiple countries and stakeholders.
You will take ownership of core financial controlling (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) while also contributing to finance projects and the ongoing development of our outsourced finance function.
You'll be part of a positive, collaborative international team. The role reports to the Head of Finance and is based at our Helsinki office.
As Cloud Protection demerged recently from WithSecure, the role has an “entrepreneurial” component in it: there’s a lot to build to gradually gain ownership of the Cloud Protection own processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Own and manage P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow in close relationship with the outsourced accounting provider
• Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting across multiple countries
• Participation to budgeting and forecasting
• Support and contribute to finance transformation and improvement projects
• Manage and optimize the outsourcing of finance function activities
• Handle tax-related matters in coordination with local advisors/authorities
• Act as a key point of contact for external partners (auditors, tax advisors, outsourcing providers)
• Involvement in the internal control schedule in order to manage the risks of our operations
• Collaborate closely with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations
• More generally, you will be involved in ad-hoc analysis needed by the Head of Finance, related to company-wide projects, financial reporting, improvement of processes, costs analysis, etc.
What are we looking for?
Experience & background
• 4–7 years of relevant experience, ideally starting in a Big 4 firm, followed by corporate experience
• Relevant academic background in Finance, Accounting, or related field (master’s)
• Experience working on finance projects (systems, process improvement, transformation, etc.)
• Experience with outsourced finance function
• Experience managing or coordinating finance across multiple countries
• Solid, hands-on knowledge of P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and Financial norms (IFRS)
• Working knowledge of tax matters
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce is an advantage
• Familiarity with billing/finance systems (e.g., Workday or similar) is a plus
Skills
• Fluent written and spoken English (other languages such as Finnish seen beneficial)
• Proficiency with MS Office
• Confidence with the use of AI tools
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to data accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, including during peak periods (e.g., month-end/quarter-end)
Personal qualities
• Hands-on, with a builder / can-do attitude
• Self-driven, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• A strong team player who is equally effective working independently
• A clear, professional communicator across departments and with external partners
• Positive, resilient, and able to perform well under pressure
If you don’t tick every box above, don’t worry — we’re more interested in your potential and willingness to learn.
The salary displayed on this page represents the starting point for the role. Final compensation is discussed individually and depends on experience, skills, and the local market.
