We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Production Merchandiser to manage Jersey orders from order placement through shipment. The role requires strong production follow-up, effective communication and the ability to identify and resolve risks to quality and delivery.

Key Responsibilities :-

  • Manage assigned orders, ensuring timely sampling, approvals, material readiness, production and shipment.
  • Monitor time and action plans, identify potential delays and coordinate corrective actions with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Communicate effectively with buyers, product coordinators and suppliers on order progress, sample feedback and delivery commitments.
  • Ensure suppliers understand and follow Kappahl Group quality, sustainability and documentation requirements.
  • Work closely with quality teams and suppliers to address production issues and support on-time delivery.
  • Improve sampling efficiency through timely feedback and structured follow-up.
  • Collect and maintain required sustainability certificates and accurate order records.

Qualifications and Experience :-

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing or a related discipline.
  • At least three years of relevant production merchandising experience, preferably with exposure to both garment manufacturing and a buying house or liaison office.
  • Practical experience in Jersey production, with the ability to independently follow orders through shipment.
  • Knowledge of garment costing, including material consumption, trims and manufacturing costs, will be an added advantage.

Analytical Skills :-

  • Ability to assess production progress and identify risks affecting quality, lead times and delivery.
  • A practical, solution-oriented approach to investigating problems and implementing preventive actions.
  • Strong planning and prioritisation skills to manage multiple orders and deadlines effectively.
