Are you ready to take the next step in your career? At PwC, we bring together different perspectives to help develop tomorrow's businesses and organisations. We share a common ambition to build trust, create positive change and deliver long-term sustainable value.

Are you an experienced fullstack developer who enjoys solving complex problems, improving software quality and helping others grow? At PwC, you will have the opportunity to develop reliable digital solutions that support our business and create long-term value for colleagues, clients and other stakeholders.

Join PwC's Business Support organisation

PwC's Business Support organisation brings together specialist functions that support and develop our internal operations. This role sits within the IT integrations team, which develops and supports APIs and local integrations with PwC's global solutions.

As a Senior Fullstack Developer, you will develop and support APIs and local integrations that manage the flow of data between global platforms and local internal applications. You will combine hands-on development with technical leadership, helping colleagues and stakeholders translate business and user needs into secure, maintainable and reliable solutions.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Design, develop, test and maintain applications throughout the full development lifecycle.
  • Translate business and user needs into reliable technical solutions in collaboration with stakeholders, architects, testers and other delivery teams.
  • Act as a senior technical colleague by mentoring less experienced developers, reviewing their work and sharing knowledge across the team.
  • Improve application quality and maintainability through automated testing, code reviews, refactoring, documentation and the structured reduction of technical debt.
  • Take ownership of complex solutions end to end, from technical design and development through deployment and production support, while aligning decisions with the Tech Lead and the team’s strategic direction.
  • Contribute to the team's culture and ways of working, including agile practices as well as pair and mob programming where appropriate.
  • Communicate blockers, technical considerations and recommendations clearly to support timely decisions and effective collaboration.
  • Use feedback and reflection to continuously develop your own skills and contribute to the development of the team.
  • Handle complex development initiatives with limited oversight and resolve difficult technical problems in collaboration with the Tech Lead and the wider team.

To perform well in the role

We are looking for someone with substantial experience in backend-focused fullstack development and modern software development practices. You can lead complex technical solutions with limited supervision and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You bring extensive experience in backend development and systems integration using C# and .NET, together with deep practical knowledge in several of the following areas:

  • REST APIs
  • Entity Framework
  • SQL
  • Microsoft Azure
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform
  • Azure DevOps Services or a similar platform
  • Automated testing, code reviews and modern development practices

Experience with Angular, JavaScript or TypeScript is advantageous, although frontend development is not currently a primary focus of the portfolio. Experience across every technology listed above is not required. We are interested in your overall technical capability, your ability to learn and the experience you can bring to the team.

You communicate effectively in English, both in writing and in speech. Swedish language skills are advantageous.

Who you are

You work well with others and value building effective professional relationships. You approach complex challenges with curiosity, structure and sound judgement. You express ideas clearly, take responsibility for results and contribute to an inclusive environment where team members learn from one another and solve challenges together.

You enjoy combining hands-on development with technical guidance and seeing both colleagues and solutions evolve.

What we offer

At PwC, you will work with modern technologies in a collaborative environment where knowledge sharing, continuous learning and professional development are part of everyday work. You will have the opportunity to shape technical solutions, lead complex development efforts and help deliver dependable digital services that add value across the organisation.
