About the Role
Speria develops software and connected technologies that help businesses across the live animal protein industry improve visibility, coordination, and operational performance. We are looking for early-career engineers who want to contribute to real-world software used to support complex production and business operations.
You will build practical software, learn from experienced engineers, and grow your technical ownership in a collaborative production environment.
What You’ll Work On
- Developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining software features
- Web, backend, API, database, cloud, or platform development
- Automated testing, technical documentation, and development tooling
- Code reviews, agile planning, stand-ups, and technical discussions
- Solutions that connect operational data with useful business insights
- You’ll collaborate with experienced engineers and cross-functional partners while learning how production software is designed, reviewed, released, and supported.
Skills & Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical project experience
- Foundational proficiency in C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or another modern programming language
- Understanding of programming concepts, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design
- Familiarity with Git and an interest in testing, APIs, databases, web development, or cloud technology
- Curiosity, strong problem-solving skills, clear communication, and a willingness to learn
- Bonus, not required: internship, capstone, open-source, GitHub, or personal project experience
