Would you like to help shape the bank’s data capabilities and take on a central role with significant influence? We are looking for someone who wants to develop and optimize our data platform in close collaboration with dedicated colleagues.
Your team You will be part of a cross-functional team consisting of developers, an Agile Product Owner, and a Team Coach. Together, we work to deliver functionality that strengthens Handelsbanken’s data capabilities.
In addition to working within the team, you will collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Architects, and business stakeholders. We enjoy working together, and our team is characterized by a high level of expertise, strong commitment, and broad experience across both technology and business.
Your role
As a Data Ingestion Engineer, you will work with our data platform, further developing solutions, building integrations with other data sources, and driving process automation. Together with the team, you will develop and support the data platform, with a focus on data migration and reconciliation (data quality). You will also contribute to building different ingestion patterns for the function. The role also includes platform management, troubleshooting, and onboarding various teams to the data platform, as well as collaborating with the business and other stakeholders.
Together with the team, you will contribute to sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues. The role gives you the opportunity to influence how the bank works with data, build solutions that make a difference, and further develop your technical skills in other data areas such as Data Governance and Data Analytics.

Kvalifikationer
Your profile
We are looking for someone with experience in data integration and data migration within modern data platforms. You are accustomed to working with data migration, integrations, and data pipelines in cloud-based environments, and you have an interest in data quality and efficient data flows. You understand Swedish and are willing to improve your skills, or you already speak Swedish fluently.
We are looking for someone with:
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, alternatively AWS or GCP.
- Experience in verifying data quality and data flows.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Experience with Change Data Capture (CDC) solutions.
- Good knowledge of CI/CD, ELT/ETL, MS SQL, Linux, and Python.
- Experience with DevOps methodologies.
- Experience with shell scripting (e.g. Bash) and C# is considered an advantage.
