If you have a passion for news and creating digital products that stand out and make a difference, then this is the job for you! Junior Skole is an entirely new news product for young students, aiming to become the most engaging news source for schools in Scandinavia.
We have successfully launched a MVP and identified user needs amongst both students and teachers alike. Now we are looking for a Product Manager to take Junior Skole from MVP to actual product, ready to be implemented in the Norwegian School Curriculum in the new school year in the fall.
We are looking for a Product Manager that puts user needs first and who would love to be a product evangelist for Junior Skole’s goals and vision, internally and externally. You are a great communicator, an entrepreneur at heart, and you are comfortable working at both the strategic level and at breaking down ideas into smaller, scalable solutions. You are truly passionate about taking ideas, research insights and business needs, and develop them into products that users love and trust. You will be responsible for providing direction to a multidisciplinary team consisting of UX designers, developers, editors, journalists, marketing and CRM-officers. Growing the number of young users and finding new ways of monetizing news for younger audiences is of great strategic value for Schibsted News Media, and we believe this is an amazing product opportunity for the right person.
