Fjellheisen is Northern Norway's largest tourist attraction and one of Tromsø's most iconic landmarks. In April 2027 we open a spectacular new 3,000 m² building — almost seven times the size of today's — with a stunning restaurant, cocktail bar, café, and four large event spaces for meetings, parties and banquets, plus open communal areas with a view that takes your breath away.
We are building a house that will be filled with life, laughter and good memories — and we want you on the team.
About the role
As Café Manager, you take on a hands-on, operational role at the new Fjellheisen Panorama, where great service and guest care always come first. Your job is to make sure everything is set up for guests to have the best possible experience.
The planning work starts now, and your job will be to help shape simple, practical routines that keep the café running smoothly. You report to the Restaurant Manager.

About Fjellheisen
Fjellheisen cable car runs from Solliveien in Tromsdalen to the Storsteinen mountain plateau. The lower station is located on the Tromsø mainland, 50 metres above sea level, while the upper station, Fjellstua, sits at 421 metres. The journey to the top takes just four minutes.
Fjellheisen is Tromsø’s most popular tourist attraction. From the summit, visitors can enjoy spectacular panoramic views across Tromsø and an expansive landscape of islands, fjords, mountains and open sea. In the opposite direction stands the majestic Tromsdalstinden, rising 1,238 metres above sea level.
As Executive Head Chef, this extraordinary setting will be your workplace, with panoramic views of Tromsø, the midnight sun in summer and the Northern Lights in winter.
