Junior Skole is an entirely new news product for young students, aiming to become the most engaging news source for schools in Scandinavia. We have successfully launched an MVP and identified user needs amongst both students and teachers alike. Now we are hiring a UX Designer to create engaging visual experiences to ensure that the Junior Skole brand will be ready for implementation in the Norwegian School Curriculum in the new school year this Fall. You will play an important role in shaping the identity of the product.
We are looking for a UX designer who puts user needs first, contributing to both research with our users, and design on the developing product. You are truly passionate about taking research insights developing them into visually stimulating products that users love and trust. You will be working with a multidisciplinary team consisting of other UX researchers, developers, editors, journalists, marketing and CRM-officers.
As a UX Designer you will also be part of a larger UX community within Schibsted, with the possibility of working across hundreds of interesting projects across various brands, products, and services. In total, we’re more than 40 designers and researchers working in teams across 10 different locations.
Through the UX community, you are offered UX events and sparring partners that will push you to get better at what you do, and through the Schibsted Learning Lab, you will get access to internal training and development programs. Your manager will make sure to follow up on your personal career development through regular 1:1s and development talks.
