Type – W2 contract (No C2C)
1st shift 6- 2:30 PM OT hours needed if requested. Metatarsal safety boots are required on their first day.

JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Manufacturing Engineer II located in Dubuque, IA, you will plan, coordinate, and perform manufacturing engineering work supporting machining, sheet metal, and tool design processes. You will work in a team environment to develop and improve manufacturing processes, equipment, and engineering solutions that meet established safety, quality, cost, and project requirements.
- Analyze manufacturing information and define the methods, process steps, machinery, tooling, and equipment needed to support production
- Design and continuously improve manufacturing processes and systems to achieve cost and quality objectives
- Develop engineering solutions and coordinate feasibility testing to support solution development and validation
- Support the development, application, and evaluation of engineering standards and specifications
- Inspect engineering work, equipment, installations, or structures and recommend corrective actions needed to meet specifications and regulatory requirements
- Identify shortcomings in existing processes, systems, and procedures and implement improvements through established change management processes
- Coordinate activities with suppliers, subcontractors, and other external resources in accordance with established project and contract management plans
- Support product development and engineering activities by analyzing customer needs and delivering appropriate manufacturing solutions
- Manage assigned engineering activities within established project plans, schedules, and goals
- Provide technical support and guidance to help others effectively use engineering and knowledge management systems
SKILL SET REQUIREMENTS
- Manufacturing engineering experience involving machining, sheet metal fabrication, tooling, equipment, or related manufacturing processes
- Ability to develop, implement, test, and improve engineering designs and manufacturing solutions
- Experience preparing and applying technical engineering specifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret complex or conflicting information
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage work within an established project schedule
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for working with different audiences
- Ability to make timely decisions and remain accountable for commitments
- Knowledge of safe work systems, applicable policies, regulations, and risk-management practices
- Ability to work collaboratively with production teams, suppliers, contractors, and other engineering functions

Education
- Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in one of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline
- Equivalent manufacturing engineering education, training, and relevant professional experience
