Main goal

Working as part of the Live Production team to plan and implement the UEFA EURO 2028 host broadcast production plan.

Key responsibilities

  • Working on all aspects of live production for EURO 2028, in collaboration with UEFA's host broadcast venue operations and broadcast engineering teams
  • Coordinating with the appointed production teams and liaising with the technical suppliers during the preparation phase
  • Assisting with production-related documents (e.g. running orders, feeds plans, camera movements, workflows) and production team schedules
  • Preparing content for EURO 2028 workshops, briefings and manuals
  • Acting as live producer with one of the production teams or Quality Control Producer in the international broadcast centre during the tournament, ensuring the on-site delivery of the host broadcast production plan
  • Supporting production and providing editorial assistance across all UEFA competitions
  • Monitoring events from UEFA's match command centre and providing ad hoc on-site support for host broadcasts of matches throughout the season
  • Taking on the role of Host Broadcast Live Producer for one of UEFA's finals, including liaising with the TV domain leader and the host broadcast manager to prepare for the event, ensuring delivery on-site and overseeing all host broadcast elements of the multilateral feed

Skills & Requirements

Requirements

Experience:

  • 4 to 6 years working in a live sport broadcast environment
  • 1 to 3 years working as a live sports producer, director, AP or other relevant live editorial role

Languages:

  • Proficient in English

Other requirements:

  • Solid understanding of all the elements of a sports outside broadcast
  • Good knowledge of new broadcast technologies, camera systems and developments in the broadcast industry
  • Team-oriented approach, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure and deal sensitively and confidently with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Relocation to Switzerland is expected
