Robot Technician

For social robots, the time is now: they are no longer science fiction. All over the world - in homes, schools, hospitals, airports, shops, offices, banks, hotels and more - social robots are now being deployed in order to help people lead better lives, support employees, delight customers and add value to businesses. We are looking for a robot technician to join our Hardware team. You will play a major role in the production process of the physical robot. You will work with the assembly of sub and main components, also the configuration, programming and testing of these components. As part of the hardware team you will play a key role in the upkeep of quality and functionality of the robot as well as identifying and addressing challenges in the production process.

We are looking for a robot technician to join our engineering team. You will own internal delivery process, including assembly, configuration and shipping of robots as well as supporting customers with troubleshooting of robots. You will also work in the robot engineering team, supporting with 3D-printing, prototyping and gathering feedback from customers. Since we are growing fast, your work will be crucial in getting robots to the market and ensuring we keep a consistent high quality of production and delivery.

As a Robot Technician, you will:

  • Assist in the assembly of sub and main components of the robot
  • Program and configure components such as servos and micro-controllers for the assemblies
  • Test functionality of the robot post assembly
  • Receive orders and organize into storage
  • Prepare and pack robots for shipment

Skills & Requirements

  • Experience in assembly and working with your hands
  • Experience with electronics and logic circuits
  • Organizational skills and general neatness
  • Basic understanding of programming
  • Have a keen eye for detail
  • Good at identifying and solving challenges
