Main goal

The Campus Infrastructure Technical Expert leads and oversees all technical infrastructure projects across the UEFA campus, including administrative buildings, the villa, the sports centre and other facilities as defined by UEFA. The role is responsible for the planning, coordination and delivery of renovation, extension and construction projects, while ensuring the effective management, maintenance and optimisation of all technical building systems and related service contracts.

Key responsibilities

Technical infrastructure project management

  • Planning, coordinating and overseeing campus transformation, renovation and expansion projects in collaboration with the Infrastructure Architect
  • Managing timelines, budgets, resources and project risks
  • Collaborating with architects, engineering consultants, contractors, local authorities and internal stakeholders
  • Ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations and industry standards (SIA, eCCCBât)

Technical building management

  • Managing HVAC, electrical, sanitary and building systems teams to ensure the effective operation and optimisation of facilities
  • Defining, reviewing and validating corrective maintenance quotations
  • Ensuring the integration of IT equipment and connectivity infrastructure (IP networks)
  • Monitoring building management systems, security systems, smart building technologies, energy management and access control systems

Tendering and contract management

  • Preparing technical and administrative specifications
  • Developing tender documentation and evaluating bids
  • Participating in supplier selection processes and contract negotiations (SIA contracts)

Operational oversight and site coordination

  • Supervising on-site works and acting as the key liaison between internal and external teams
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards in collaboration with the Security Manager
  • Coordinating handovers, commissioning activities and warranty follow-up
  • Overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance activities carried out by dedicated HVAC, electrical, sanitary and specialist contractors

Facility management services and systems

  • Monitoring the quality of outsourced services, including grounds maintenance
  • Configuring and maintaining facility management system modules covering preventive and corrective maintenance
  • Managing and maintaining technical drawings and documentation
  • Producing reports and performance analyses using computer-aided facility management (CAFM) tools

Skills & Requirements

Requirements

Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience managing technical infrastructure projects in a complex environment
  • Strong project management, stakeholder coordination and communication skills

Education:

  • Higher education qualification in building services engineering or a related technical discipline (BTS, ES, HES, ETS or equivalent qualification)

Languages:

  • French: Fluent
  • English: Working knowledge (B1 minimum)

Other requirements:

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience leading and supervising a dedicated team
  • Project management tools, including MS Project
  • AutoCAD (reading and modifying technical drawings)
  • Microsoft 365 suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Knowledge of CMMS/CAFM systems
  • Familiarity with SIA, eCCCBât and CFC standards
