Turn travel dreams into unforgettable journeys.
At Hurtigruten, we've been exploring the Norwegian coastline for more than 130 years, creating authentic and sustainable travel experiences that connect guests with Norway's spectacular nature, culture and heritage. Today, our voyages continue to inspire travellers from around the world, combining tradition with innovation and a commitment to responsible tourism.
As demand for travel to Norway, the Nordic region and Arctic destinations such as Svalbard continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced and commercially driven Travel Consultant to join our Melbourne team.
This is more than a customer service role. We're seeking a passionate travel professional who thrives on building relationships, identifying opportunities, and converting enquiries into bookings while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
About the Role
As a Travel Consultant, you will be the first point of contact for both travel trade partners and direct customers across the Asia-Pacific region. Through phone, email, chat and virtual consultations, you'll inspire travellers, provide expert advice, and guide them through the booking process for some of the world's most sought-after destinations.
Success in this role requires a strong sales mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to confidently match customer needs with the right Hurtigruten experience.
This is a full-time office-based position in Melbourne, working Monday to Friday within an 08:00-18:00 availability window.
