Main goal

The International Relations Assistant supports the daily operations of the National Associations International Relations unit, including the UEFA Together programme. The role requires excellent communication and organisational skills, and involves performing administrative tasks such as processing emails and invoices and organising travel and visas for youth tournaments. UEFA Together is a development programme aimed at strengthening confederations and their member associations through knowledge exchanges, youth football development projects and partnerships with UEFA member associations

Key responsibilities

    • Providing administrative support for the daily operations of the National Associations International Relations unit and the UEFA Together programme
    • Coordinating logistics and visas for youth tournaments
    • Preparing documents relating to UEFA Together activities
    • Supporting the implementation of UEFA Together projects and events when required
    • Providing on-site support during UEFA Friendship Cup tournaments
    • Supporting the creation of external publications relating to UEFA Together
    • Organising travel arrangements for consultants
    • Maintaining an overview of all key events in a yearly calendar
    • Maintaining an up-to-date contact list of stakeholders

Skills & Requirements

Requirements

Experience:

  • from 1 to 3 years two to three years' experience in an administrative role in an international environment

Education:

  • Bachelor's or equivalent qualification

Languages:

  • Bilingual French/English

Other requirements:

  • Experience performing general administrative tasks
  • Team player
  • Good spoken and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of and experience working with SAP
  • Client-orientated with strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Understanding of basic financial tools and financial reporting
  • MS Office
