About the position

As a Warehouse Storeperson within our WA Operations team, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing and dispatching products, while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting a safe and organised workplace.

Reporting to the Warehouse and Operations Supervisor, this role is critical to delivering exceptional service to our customers and supporting the overall success of our operations.

Your main responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect and process inbound stock, transfer orders and customer returns.
  • Accurately pick, pack and dispatch customer orders within required timeframes.
  • Complete stock put-aways, inventory movements and maintain accurate stock records.
  • Coordinate freight bookings and prepare transport documentation for dispatch.
  • Participate in stocktakes and cycle counts, assisting with inventory accuracy and discrepancy investigations.
  • Load and unload containers and operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely.
  • Maintain warehouse housekeeping standards and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with returns processing, minor product repair activities and inventory organisation.
  • Support workplace health and safety initiatives and maintain compliance with company procedures.
  • Provide guidance and support to casual warehouse staff when required.

Skills & Requirements

A suitable background would be a solid experience within warehouse, logistics or distribution environments – as well as the following qualifications and experiences:

  • Current Forklift Licence.
  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a warehouse, logistics or distribution role.
  • Experience with inventory management and stock control processes.
  • Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
  • Current WA Class C Driver's Licence (desirable).
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) or similar ERP systems (desirable).
  • Experience coordinating freight and transport providers (desirable).
  • Current First Aid Certificate.
