The Koenigsegg Infotainment team designs and develops software for the infotainment systems across our vehicles, including the head unit, digital cluster, and smartwheel displays. We work across the full stack — from hardware integration at the board and driver level, through platform and framework development, to UI/UX design and cloud connectivity. This is a small, high-performing team where engineers have real ownership and direct impact on the product.

We're looking for a skilled and experienced software engineer with deep hardware-close expertise. You will develop across our Linux/Yocto-based and Android (AOSP) infotainment platforms at the BSP and driver level, with opportunities to influence architecture and framework decisions as you grow in the role.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain BSP, kernel drivers, and low-level platform software for the Koenigsegg Infotainment system on Linux/Yocto and AOSP.
  • Integrate and bring up hardware components including SoC peripherals, displays, audio, connectivity, and ECU interfaces.
  • Build features that leverage embedded and connected technologies — favoring simple, robust solutions and eliminating unnecessary complexity.
  • Contribute to Android HAL implementations and framework services where needed.
  • Collaborate with a small, agile cross-functional team of embedded software engineers, QA/Validation, and designers on technical decisions.
  • Debug and analyze root causes across the full software stack.
  • Support production and service departments with technical expertise.
  • Contribute to our engineering practices and standards.

  • Proficient in C and C++.
  • Experience optimizing code for resource-constrained environments.
  • Understanding of embedded system architecture and hardware/software interfaces.
  • A pragmatic engineering mindset — you favor simple, robust solutions over unnecessary complexity.
