The opportunity

AI agents are entering workflows with sensitive documents, internal tools and consequential actions. But their controls are often spread across code, connector settings, cloud permissions and deployment decisions. When an agent’s scope changes, teams need clear answers: what may it read? what can it do alone? what needs approval? can it be stopped? what evidence remains?

Necto is building a secure execution platform for customer-supplied AI agents. In one versioned profile, a team declares who owns an agent, what it may access and do, and which actions require human approval.

Necto turns that profile into deployment controls: isolated execution, scoped and short-lived credentials, approval gates for risky actions, a way to stop future runs and brokered actions, and a record of what happened. Changes become a reviewable, approved and versioned release.

The goal is to help teams deploy agents in sensitive workflows without rebuilding these controls for every new agent. As a Co-founder, you will shape the first workflows we support and take ownership of turning this direction into a product people can use.

Where we are now

  • Necto Technologies is supported by KTH Innovation.
  • The platform is in development.
  • We are in early conversations with prospective users.
  • We are actively raising a pre-seed round to fund the next phase.

What you will shape

  • The product direction and technical roadmap from the start.
  • The software around an agent: execution, tools, permissions, data access, monitoring and failure handling.
  • Clear ways for people to review, approve, stop and improve agent-driven work.
  • A product that can be tested, deployed, operated and developed with real user feedback.
  • The company itself, including product choices, customer learning and fundraising.

Why join Necto

I am Markus Marandi, Necto’s founder. I have worked on deploying AI agents and building software that needs to remain maintainable as it grows. I founded Necto to make agents usable in sensitive workflows with clear operational controls.

Necto is supported by KTH Innovation, is in active development, and is in early conversations with prospective users while we raise a pre-seed round. This is a point where the technical foundation, first customer learning and company direction are still being shaped.

I am looking for a technical co-founder who wants to own that work alongside me. You will have real influence over the technical direction, product priorities, early customer learning and company decisions from the start.

Skills & Requirements

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone who wants meaningful ownership in an early-stage company. Your title and route into technology matter less than your judgement, curiosity and willingness to take responsibility.

You may come from backend, product, platform or another technical background. Experience with agent systems or with building, deploying or securing software is useful, but it is not a checklist. People with an unconventional route into this area are welcome.

Core capabilities

  • Strong coding ability and the willingness to own a path from design to deployed service.
  • Hands-on experience deploying and operating software: releases, monitoring, troubleshooting and recovery.
  • Systems thinking about permissions, credentials, tool calls, isolation, network access and failure modes.
  • Ability to design clear interfaces and test behaviour under normal and adversarial conditions.
  • Comfort working in an ambiguous early-stage environment, making trade-offs and communicating clearly.
  • A builder mindset: you can move from an unfinished idea to a working system and keep improving it.

Valuable experience

  • Building agent harnesses, tool-calling systems, workflow engines or other orchestration software.

Terms and practical requirements

The initial engagement requires a meaningful part-time commitment. Initial terms, including equity and responsibilities, will be agreed in writing before starting. Our aim is to move to paid full-time work once the pre-seed round is secured.

  • You can work regularly from Stockholm or in a hybrid Stockholm setup.
  • You have the right to work in Sweden.
  • You can work in English, our working language.
  • A formal degree is not required.

Great Place to Work

  • Business Development Coach from KTH

  • Centrally located office space (KTH Campus)

  • Be part of the thriving KTH Innovation Community

  • Access to mentor and investor network

  • Workshops and service packs from KTH partners

  • Proof-of-concept funding

  • Access to Media Studio and Makerspace

  • IP and legal counseling

About the company

Necto Technologies AB is a Swedish company based in Stockholm. We are building a secure execution and monitoring platform for AI agents, designed for European-sovereign deployment with the provider, region, data flow and subprocessor boundary made explicit for each deployment.

Necto focuses on the governed delivery layer around an agent: policy, retrieval permissions, scoped credentials, governed actions, release workflow and evidence. Customers bring their agent application; Necto is building the controls that make its delivery reviewable and operable. The platform is in development, and we are now building the team to take the technical direction into the next phase.

We are currently supported by KTH Innovation where the aim is to accelerate the development of promising startup projects from KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Startup projects receive extensive support from inhouse Business Development Coaches as well as additional support such as office space, community activities, team development support, IP and legal counseling, access to industry, mentor and investor networks.
