As Fabric & Trim Manager - Women's Wear at our Paris office, you will lead the development and sourcing of fabrics and trims across the collection. Working closely with Design, Buying, Production and our supplier network, you will help ensure a smooth development process from first idea to final product while leading and developing your team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As Fabric & Trim Manager - Women's Wear your main contribution will be to lead the development and sourcing of fabrics and trims for the Women's Wear collections, ensuring creative ideas are translated into the right materials from concept through to production. You will report to Director of Scarves & Fabrics. You will play a vital role in bringing each collection to life by balancing creativity, quality, cost, sustainability goals and delivery timelines by:

  • Ensure material and trim development aligns with collection goals, timelines, budgets, and sustainability targets
  • Partner with Design to translate creative concepts into material and trim solutions
  • Manage the development of assigned fabric and trim categories together with Raw Material Buying
  • Monitor fabric and trim budgets in collaboration with Raw Material Buying
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in PLM, material cards, and development tools
  • Oversee and maintain the colour, material, and development archives
  • Work closely with quality to ensure compliance with durability, safety, and chemical standards
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure product requirements are met and development runs smoothly
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while identifying sourcing opportunities in line with business needs
  • Manage day-to-day supplier communication, including regular supplier visits

  • Solid experience in fabric and trim development, preferably within luxury or premium fashion
  • Strong communication skills in written and spoken English; Italian is considered a merit
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Experience working with PLM systems is considered a merit
  • Strong costing, budgeting, and negotiation skills
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
