Warehouse Operative

Igloobooks is looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join its team based in Sywell. The role will include but is not limited to picking, packing and scanning orders with RF guns, wrapping pallets, following standard operating procedures, driving MHE, unloading containers, reworking stock and other warehouse duties as instructed by the Shift Manager.

The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse experience. A valid VNA/VOP and Counterbalance licence is required. Fire Marshall and First aid qualification preferred.

This role is from 10am - 6pm Monday to Friday.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Picking cartons and pallets accurately using WMS systems in place including RF guns
  • Replenishing stock levels using MHE
  • Wrapping pallets to customer specifications
  • Working against deadlines to ensure picks are ready for QC in a timely manner
  • Supporting container unloading team
  • Working with the team to ensure all customer collections are loaded on time in full
  • Complete picking paperwork/produce labels

Skills & Requirements

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous warehouse experience essential
  • MHE licence preferred
  • First Aid and Fire Marshal trained candidate preferred
  • Attention to detail essential including counting / basic written skills
  • Good communication skills essential
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • An awareness of H&S in a similar environment
