Data Governance Analyst

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the execution of Enterprise Data Governance Services plans for secure and permanent data deletion.
• Collaborate with business, technology, data, security, and governance stakeholders to develop and implement data deletion controls and processes.
• Ensure data deletion processes align with established data governance, security, risk, and compliance frameworks.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate that data deletion controls are properly implemented and operating effectively.
• Identify control gaps, risks, and emerging organizational requirements and recommend appropriate improvements.
• Conduct dataset discovery and inventory across Data Lake zones.
• Maintain accurate metadata, data inventories, and documentation.
• Analyze datasets and data flows to support data retention and deletion requirements.
• Prepare project documentation, status updates, testing results, and governance reports.
• Coordinate project activities and communicate progress, risks, issues, and dependencies to stakeholders.
