
Senior Oracle Database Administrator (Key Personnel)
Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Oracle Database Administrator to provide administration, optimization, security, and operational support for enterprise database environments supporting mission-critical business applications. The successful candidate will possess deep expertise in database architecture, performance tuning, high availability, backup and recovery, and cloud-based database solutions.
Responsibilities
Administer and maintain enterprise database environments across multiple operating systems and deployment models.
Design and support high-availability, replication, and disaster recovery solutions.
Monitor and optimize database performance and capacity.
Manage backup, recovery, and business continuity processes.
Support database migrations, upgrades, patching, and modernization efforts.
Develop and maintain database standards, procedures, and documentation.
Troubleshoot complex database issues and provide root cause analysis.
Collaborate with application development and infrastructure teams to support business applications.
Implement database security controls and compliance requirements.
Support both cloud-hosted and on-premises database environments.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of Oracle database administration experience in enterprise environments.
Experience supporting standalone and multi-tenant database architectures.
Experience administering databases across Windows, Linux, and Unix platforms.
Experience supporting cloud and on-premises database environments.
Strong experience with:
High-availability solutions
Backup and recovery technologies
Database migration tools
Replication technologies
Job scheduling and monitoring tools
Advanced SQL and database development skills.
Strong performance tuning and troubleshooting experience.
Experience supporting mission-critical production systems.
