They will be managing project, people, clients, financials, (not all by themselves) driving results. Involved in EVERYTHING - Software development (custom) and commercial software. PMP is nice, not necessary. The focus and emphasis should be around the work they do and how they manage the workflow. Open to consider protentional/ on the rise PM’s depending on the type of work they have done. This must be a polished professional/ professional services, shaking hands with a governor type of person. Technology is just our tool. The Role -Our client has an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager as we continue to grow our Chicago-based practice. The Project Manager will be responsible for leading cross functional teams to complete project goals and deliverables within scope and budget. The successful candidate will work directly with clients and internal staff to estimate, plan and manage projects to successful completion. Our solution offerings include custom design, integrated solutions that leverage third-party software and COTS products, and highly configurable, low code case management solutions that that incorporate leading-edge technologies. These include cloud-based mobility, data analytics and visualizations, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. As a project manager, you will work in a collaborative environment within our project teams where you will track, manage and report upon scope, schedule, budget for client projects. As the project manager is the primary point of contact with the client, frequent and clear communication is necessary to establish productive and balanced relationships with customer stakeholders and sponsors. Previous experience managing projects in any of the following functional area is a plus but not required: Health and Human Services, Higher Education, Utilities, Probation, and Healthcare. ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include:

• Create, update and manage project schedule using Microsoft Project or other client-approved software.
• Control and manage project scope, budget, activities and expectations to ensure profitability of their projects.
• Regularly track, report and analyze project status, including scheduling and conducting regular status meetings, and creating client-facing status reports.
• Create and manage Risk, Change and Issues registers for the project.
• Plan, schedule and manage project activities with clients.
• Regularly manage, interact, and collaborate with our client’s project team members.
• Facilitate discussions and resolution of project-related issues and blockers, if they arise.
• Escalate issues to management and client stakeholders, if necessary.
• Create monthly reports and forecasts to our client’s executive management of project status, schedule, milestones and budget.
• Facilitate, schedule and plan Executive Steering Committee meetings for projects – including creation of presentations and other material to effectively communicate project progress.
