About the role
We’re looking for a talented Sales Development Manager to join our global Marketing team to skyrocket our inbound and outbound lead generation for both net new and expansion sales. You will directly manage our global Sales Development team and operations: team of skilled SDRs based in 3 Sievo offices, as well as our AI agents and tools that drive high performance business development. You will develop and execute strategies to identify and qualify high-value sales leads, decide what AI should own versus what stays human, optimize our ways of working, and navigate the cross-functional nature of this role with ease.
You bring hands-on experience of managing business development teams or sales, as well as running outreach and prospecting tools, an existing track record with driving qualified leads in a B2B SaaS space. This is a full-time global role, reporting directly to the SVP of Marketing currently based out of Chicago.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Growing the topline of both new business and upsales: You and your team’s ultimate goal is to generate new business opportunities for Sievo with the world’s largest companies through setting up qualified 1st meetings that turn into real sales pipeline.
- Managing a global SDR team: We have currently 5 skilled SDRs across 3 Sievo offices. You will be recruiting, onboarding and coaching SDRs and ensuring your team is reaching its full potential and hitting performance targets. Balancing and continuously optimizing how to divide responsibilities between inbound and outbound prospecting, as well as net new and cross sell prospecting, against Sievo’s wider go-to-market strategy and targets.
- Owning the AI development in SDR operations: managing current AI tools, while you continuously evaluate and deploy new AI tools for prospecting, enrichment, and outreach, and making clear calls on what AI should handle versus what requires a human touch. working alongside AI prospecting and outreach tools.
- Creating and constantly improving ways of working: Drive and optimize SDR productivity and reduce friction in lead hand-offs from Marketing to Sales, incorporating methods and tools where it improves speed and quality without sacrificing lead quality. You are consistently ensuring we are using the best tactics and are sharing best practices across the team.
- Effectively navigating cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate between the wider Marketing team, Sales & Customer Success and Revenue Operations teams. You ensure SDR team is working in harmony across all GTM teams towards shared goals.
- Performance management and reporting: Setting clear performance goals, KPIs, and expectations, compensation models and tracking metrics that reflect SDR team’s performance. You will present regular reports to leadership on your team’s performance, pinpoint successes and areas of improvement advised by data
The ideal person we are looking for
- Proven track record in B2B Software Sales and/or Sales Development and related fields.
- Someone with a sharp, practical point of view on where AI genuinely improves SDR processes. Hands-on experience selecting, deploying, and optimizing AI-powered prospecting, enrichment, or outreach tools. Including making build-vs-buy calls on what to automate versus keep human.
- Effective team leader and cross-functional collaborator who gets things done.
- Results-oriented self-starter, ready to lead by example.
- Effective communicator and presenter in English
- Proficiency in modern sales technology and tools: CRM and data providers (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) as well as AI-powered prospecting and outreach platforms (such as Usergems, Clay).
- While you are managing the day-to-day operations of the global SDR team, you don’t shy away from occasionally getting hands-on yourself to stay close to how we can improve our craft in SDR space.
What we also consider as an advantage
- Previous experience in Enterprise B2B SaaS and selling to large buying committees.
- Understanding of Procurement and/or Supply Chain Management or related fields.

The salary range for this position is 4,000 to 5,500 EUR / month. The salary will be determined based on candidate’s experience and qualifications for the position.
