Do you enjoy turning complex data into insights that lead to better decisions – and using those insights to improve how an organisation works?

As an Analytical Specialist in Line Management, you will play an important role in improving how we analyse, follow up and manage leased lines across our Nordic organisation.

You will work across countries, systems and functions, bringing structure to complex and sometimes inconsistent data. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to improve reporting, develop analytical tools and help establish better and more standardised ways of working. This is a role for someone who enjoys understanding how things work, finding patterns and improvement opportunities, and turning analysis into actions.

What you'll be working on

You will work across the Nordic organisation and collaborate closely with Finance, Procurement, Network, Product, suppliers and other internal stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and standardise reporting, performance follow-up, definitions and analytical methods across countries, creating more consistent and comparable ways of working.
  • Analyse costs, invoices, contracts and connection data to identify deviations, cost drivers, low-margin or unprofitable connections and opportunities for optimisation.
  • Perform financial follow-up against budget and forecast together with Finance, while improving the quality and structure of the underlying data.
  • Develop and improve analytical tools and reports using Excel, Power BI, databases, Business Objects and other relevant systems.
  • Identify structural issues and root causes behind recurring errors or inefficiencies and help drive improvements across countries and functions.
  • Connect data from different systems and sources to create a clearer view of costs, revenues, performance and improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare management reporting, scenario analyses and decision support, turning complex financial, technical and contractual information into clear conclusions and recommendations.
  • Build relationships and influence stakeholders across the organisation, helping move improvements forward even when you do not have formal authority.
  • Over time, become a go-to person and internal expert for follow-up, analysis and reporting related to leased lines.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone who enjoys solving complex problems and creating structure from large amounts of information.

You may already have experience in financial analysis, controlling, business analysis, procurement, telecom or another analytical field. You may also be early in your career or recently graduated. What matters most is your analytical ability, curiosity, drive and willingness to learn.

You are likely to have:

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to work with large and complex data sets.
  • Strong Excel skills and an interest in BI tools, databases and data-driven ways of working. Experience with Power BI is an advantage.
  • An understanding of, or strong interest in, financial follow-up, including budgets, forecasts and KPIs.
  • The ability to turn analysis into clear insights and practical recommendations that support better business decisions.

As a person, you are structured, curious and quality-focused. You enjoy understanding how things fit together, spotting patterns and opportunities for improvement, and taking ownership to move things forward. You are comfortable collaborating across functions, communicating complex information clearly and constructively challenging existing ways of working.

Experience from telecom, infrastructure or another capital-intensive industry is an advantage, as is experience with systems such as Business Objects, Cava, Telemator, Telefakt or AX. Neither is a requirement – what matters most is your ability to understand complex information and learn quickly.

About the role and the team

As Analytical Specialist – Line Management, you will report to the Senior Director Lines Management and work as part of the Line Management organisation. The leased line environment spans several Nordic countries, with different systems, processes, contractual structures and ways of working. Your role will be to help bring these different pieces together and create better transparency, consistency and insight. You will work closely with colleagues across Finance, Procurement, Network, Product and Operations, as well as external suppliers.

Your analysis will not stop at producing a report. The goal is to understand what the data means, why something is happening and what we should do about it. You will therefore have the opportunity to influence both decisions and ways of working across the organisation.

What success looks like

During your first 6–12 months, you will have:

  • Established and improved structures for reporting and follow-up.
  • Developed a clearer and more consistent view of costs, performance and improvement opportunities.
  • Identified concrete opportunities for cost optimisation and process improvements.
  • Improved the quality and usefulness of management reporting and decision support.
  • Built strong relationships with key stakeholders across the Nordic organisation.
  • Established yourself as a trusted internal expert in your area.

Does this sound like you?

If you are curious, analytical and driven by the opportunity to understand complex problems and make things work better, we would love to hear from you.
