Line Management Administrator

Would you like to build your career at the intersection of cost management, operational processes, and continuous improvement?

As a Line Management Administrator, you will play an important role in ensuring that supplier costs, leased line services, inventory, and documentation are accurate and aligned. Your work will contribute directly to cost transparency and financial control within one of GlobalConnect's largest Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) categories.

The role is much more than invoice administration. You will investigate discrepancies between supplier invoices, contracts, leased line inventory, and our internal systems to ensure that we are paying for the right services, at the right cost, with the right documentation behind them.

At the same time, you will gain broad exposure to how our leased line business operates and have the opportunity to identify and improve the processes behind the data you work with.

About the role and the team

You will join our Line Management organization and report to the Manager, Line Management. The team is responsible for managing information and costs connected to GlobalConnect's leased line portfolio, including supplier costs, service inventory, and contractual documentation.

Your role will be an important control point between supplier invoices, contracts, inventory records, and our internal systems. You will collaborate with colleagues across Finance, Operations, and Service Delivery, as well as with external suppliers, to investigate discrepancies, maintain accurate information, and ensure that issues are properly resolved.

Unlike a traditional invoice administration role, you will look beyond the invoice itself. You will investigate whether the underlying service exists, whether it is correctly documented, whether the agreed price is correct, and whether our internal systems accurately reflect the service.

What you'll be working on

  • Review and validate supplier invoices against contracts, leased line inventory, and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure that supplier costs and services are correctly documented in our internal systems.
  • Identify billing errors, missing information, and discrepancies between invoices, contracts, inventory, and system information.
  • Investigate discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions with relevant internal teams and suppliers.
  • Perform regular checks to ensure the accuracy and completeness of leased line inventory and documentation.
  • Support accurate cost administration and provide information and analysis to relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and ways of working.
  • Contribute to automation and other initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and reducing cost leakage.
  • Look beyond individual errors to understand why they occur and identify opportunities to improve the underlying process.

Who we are looking for

You enjoy working with details and creating structure in information that needs to be accurate. You are curious when something does not add up and enjoy investigating until you understand what is behind a discrepancy.

You are comfortable working with data, but you also want to understand the business context behind it. You are not satisfied with simply correcting an error – you are interested in understanding why it happened and whether there is a better way of working.

You will work with several internal stakeholders and external suppliers, so a structured, collaborative, and proactive way of working will help you succeed.

To succeed in this role, you likely have:

  • Experience in administration, finance support, operations support, or a similar administrative function.
  • Good analytical skills and an ability to identify inconsistencies and investigate discrepancies.
  • A structured and detail-oriented approach to your work.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and an ability to learn and work with business systems.
  • Professional communication skills in English.

Experience with supplier invoices, inventory management, documentation administration, telecom, infrastructure, or finance operations is beneficial but not required.

A role with room to grow

This is an entry-level position, but it offers significant opportunities to develop.

You will quickly gain a broad understanding of how supplier costs, leased line services, contracts, inventory, financial processes, and internal systems connect. This provides a strong foundation for developing your career in areas such as cost analysis, commercial analysis, Line Management, Service Delivery, or Operational Excellence.

As you gain experience, there will also be opportunities to take greater ownership of processes, reporting, improvement initiatives, and analysis.

Does this sound like you?

If you are curious, structured, analytical, and enjoy finding both errors and better ways of working, we would love to hear from you.
