Working in Meltwater’s Marketing team, you will play a critical role in identifying, implementing, and measuring new marketing campaigns to drive customer acquisition and retention.
This role is responsible for all aspects of driving marketing campaigns in the Americas region, including a first pass at content creation, campaign execution in our Marketing Automation tool, program tracking, and measurement. Campaigns will be executed via email, ad placement, direct mail, ABM programs, YesWare and LinkedIn mail.
The ideal candidate has 4+ years of marketing experience in Demand Gen, email marketing, is Marketo certified, and is eager to contribute to ROI and business growth. Bonus points for having worked on Enterprise ABM programs.
What you’ll be learning and doing
Develop, set up, track and optimize the 30+ programs we run via Marketo quarterly. Create new meaningful campaigns that contribute to top of funnel leads and sales conversions. Continuously optimize and test your work.
Develop and run ABM campaigns in Triblio and Google Adwords, driving traffic to our website and landing pages.
Own email campaigns, ABM ads, and connected landing pages from idea stage, to content writing, to working with designers to find enriching imagery, up to Marketo execution and reporting.
Use Marketo, Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Triblio, and our CRM platform to analyze performance & disseminate campaign data to internal teams and stakeholders.
Make informed decisions about when and how to reach out to prospects and customers based on stages of their buying cycles and customer journeys.
Grow new business from within our existing customer base by constructing upsell and cross-sell email campaigns and special offers. Know what “Land & Expand” means in marketing terms.
Establish processes and systems to ensure experimentation and measurement can be done in a scalable and repeatable model. Control and optimize all relevant marketing KPIs.
Always be on top of best practices in digital marketing in general, specifically in marketing automation, ABM and SEO. Enforce use of best practices and clean data inside of our marketing suite.
Skills & Requirements
What we’re looking for
Demonstrated success in a previous role as a Demand Gen, Campaign, or Email Marketing Manager, preferably in a startup environment for Enterprise SaaS businesses. 4+ years of experience necessary, Marketing or Communications majors preferred.
Marketo certification and/or demonstrated working experience required.
Knowledge of CRM software, Marketing Automation suites, Google Analytics, ABM tools & Google Adwords.
Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset to report on and optimize large data sets.
Ability to craft email messages and headlines, ad copy, effective CTAs, and collaborate with our Content team for input and optimization.
Some knowledge of the various paid marketing channels and technologies, including paid search & display, retargeting, and paid social ads, as well as buyer’s intent data and ABM mechanisms.
A/B testing experience a must.
