Would you like to play a key role in shaping and delivering sustainability reporting in a leading Nordic retail group? We are looking for an experienced CSRD Reporting Expert to lead our CSRD reporting and reporting development projects. Position is in Tokmanni Group's Sustainability team and for a one-year parental leave replacement.

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering Tokmanni Group's CSRD reporting and supporting the continuous development of reporting processes and practices. The position plays a key role in ensuring high-quality sustainability disclosures and compliance with evolving reporting requirements.

While the title includes project management responsibilities, we are primarily looking for a hands-on sustainability reporting professional. You have personally worked on CSRD reporting, collected and validated sustainability data, interpreted reporting requirements, and written report content. We are primarily looking for candidates who have hands-on experience preparing CSRD reports for listed companies, either in-house or in a consulting role. Success in this role requires both project leadership skills in cross company network and extensive hands-on experience in sustainability reporting, combined with deep practical expertise in the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) and their application in corporate reporting.

Your key responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of Tokmanni Group's CSRD reporting process
  • Collect, analyze, validate, and manage sustainability-related data across the organization
  • Prepare and develop sustainability report content in line with ESRS requirements
  • Interpret sustainability reporting regulations and translate regulatory requirements into practical reporting actions
  • Support the update and further development of the Group's Double Materiality Assessment
  • Develop reporting processes, data management practices, and reporting tools
  • Produce and review reporting materials in both Finnish and English
  • Coordinate and review translations between Finnish and English to ensure consistency and quality
  • Work closely with stakeholders across sustainability, finance, HR, procurement, legal, marketing, business operations, and external assurance providers.

What we expect from you

  • Hands-on experience preparing CSRD reporting in a listed company or as a consultant supporting listed companies
  • Proven track record in sustainability data collection, data management and drafting CSRD-compliant sustainability report content
  • Deep and comprehensive expertise in the ESRS standards and demonstrated ability to apply them in practice within CSRD reporting
  • Strong understanding of the sustainability reporting regulatory landscape and reporting frameworks
  • Excellent written communication skills and experience drafting reporting content
  • Fluency in both Finnish and English, with the ability to translate and adapt content between the two languages. Proficiency in Swedish is considered an asset.
  • Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • A structured, self-driven, and solution-oriented way of working
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to drive progress without formal authority.
  • Ability to start working as soon as possible.

We also value experience in double materiality assessments, reporting system development, and knowledge of the retail or consumer goods industry.

What we offer

We offer you a unique opportunity to work at the heart of sustainability reporting in one of Finland's leading retail groups. You will have a visible and impactful role, working with a broad range of stakeholders and contributing to the development of Tokmanni Group's sustainability reporting and reporting capabilities.

You will join a friendly and supportive team where collaboration is valued and success is achieved together. We offer a flexible hybrid working model that combines office and remote working, enabling both effective teamwork and focused individual work.

In addition, we provide a competitive package of employee benefits, including ePassi, staff discounts, and a wide range of partner benefits.

Application instructions and further information

The position is a fixed-term parental leave replacement for one year. The position will be filled as soon as a suitable candidate is found. The weekly working hours are 37.5 h/week. The primary workplace is Tokmanni Group's Head Office in Mäntsälä, Finland, and the role follows the Group's hybrid working model. Occasional travel within the Group may be required.

Please submit your application, CV, and salary expectation as soon as possible or at the latest on August 28th. We will review applications during the application period and fill the position immediately once the right candidate is found.
