Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze Java application source code to identify design improvements and technical risks.
- Review application architecture, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Improve application scalability, resiliency, maintainability, and performance.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Security, Architecture, and Product teams.
- Identify and prioritize technical debt remediation initiatives.
- Promote secure coding practices and Security-by-Design principles.
- Participate in solution design and architecture reviews.
- Support cloud modernization and platform transformation initiatives.
- Create technical documentation, design standards, and engineering playbooks.
- Evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and architectural patterns.
- Support CI/CD, DevOps, and software delivery best practices.
Skills & Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
- Strong Java development experience.
- Experience with REST APIs and Microservices.
- Experience with distributed systems.
- Knowledge of cloud-native applications.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles.
- Experience reviewing application architecture and source code.
- Knowledge of secure software development.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
