We are looking for a dedicated full-time professional to join us as soon as possible. In this role, you will contribute your expertise in financial accounting and actively help drive the development of our finance processes.

Your main responsibilities

Independently managing day-to-day financial accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed asset accounting)
Reviewing, assigning account codes to, and posting business transactions, as well as reconciling accounts and resolving open items
Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and reporting to the corporate group
Supporting budget planning, forecasts, and financial analyses
Handling payment transactions and assisting with liquidity management
Working closely with the Human Resources, Purchasing, Production, and Sales departments
Communicating with suppliers, auditors, tax authorities, and other external partners
Participating in finance, ERP, and digitalization projects, as well as continuously optimizing processes and structures

Skills & Requirements

A suitable background would be the following in terms of qualifications and experiences:

Completed commercial apprenticeship with further training in accounting or a comparable qualification, or a degree with a focus on finance/accounting
Several years of professional experience in financial accounting, ideally in an international environment
In-depth knowledge of accounting in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB); knowledge of IFRS is a plus
Proficiency with ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365, as well as MS Office
Good command of German and English
