Job Description

ICEYE is looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist to join the Global Payroll team as an additional resource during an exciting period of growth.

This is a fixed-term position for approximately 3–6 months, and we hope you can start as soon as possible. We review applications throughout the application period and will fill the position as soon as we find the right person, so we encourage you to apply sooner rather than later.

What will you be doing?

In this role, you will support global payroll operations across ICEYE's international organization, with a particular focus on Finland, one of the company's largest payroll entities. Working closely with the Senior Payroll Specialist based in Warsaw, as well as colleagues in HR and Finance and external payroll providers, you will help ensure accurate and compliant payroll operations while contributing to the continuous development of payroll processes.

More specifically, your responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating end-to-end payroll operations across approximately 12 countries together with external payroll providers
  • Preparing, validating, and submitting payroll data to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
  • Ensuring payroll activities comply with local legislation and internal policies
  • Supporting the onboarding of new legal entities and contributing to process development and automation initiatives
  • Partnering with internal stakeholders and external vendors to continuously improve payroll operations

What makes you a great fit?

We hope you are a proactive and detail-oriented payroll professional who enjoys solving problems and improving ways of working. You thrive in a fast-paced international environment, communicate effectively with stakeholders across functions, and take ownership of delivering high-quality payroll services.

We require you to have:

  • Around 3–5 years of experience in end-to-end payroll, ideally in an international or fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of Finnish payroll legislation and payroll processes, with experience supporting payroll across Europe
  • Experience working with third-party payroll providers in a multinational environment
  • Excellent Excel skills and experience working with payroll and HRIS systems
  • A full working proficiency in English

We consider as an asset:

  • Knowledge of local labor and payroll legislation outside Europe

We can offer you:

  • A unique opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing New Space company operating globally
  • Meaningful ownership in an international payroll environment supporting employees across multiple countries
  • The opportunity to improve payroll processes and help shape future ways of working
  • A collaborative and experienced team where your expertise is valued from day one
  • Cozy office spaces in Otaniemi, Espoo

Practicalities:

This is a full-time and 3-6 months fixed term position. You will be employed as aTalent employee at ICEYE. We hope you can start as soon as possible. The role will be located in Espoo, and we hope you are able to work at the office at least a few days per week as part of a hybrid model. Salary in this position is 5200-5500 €/month (gross) depending on the level of your experience, and will be negotiated individually.

Sounds like you? Please submit your CV and motivation letter in PDF-format in English by the latest 10th of August via our application system.

Please note that we are actively reviewing applications throughout the application period and processing them in the order they are received. Remember to use the application system, we do not accept applications by email. We want to ensure that all applicants can participate in the process equally, and we will take individual accessibility needs into account where necessary.
