Senior Complaints Oversight Officer

We are looking for a senior complaints oversight officer to join our Dublin based team. This key role will assist with oversight of the company's delegated complaint handling authority relationships to demonstrate that these are operating effectively and in line with the applicable regulations. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage & Maintain key stakeholder relationships, both internally and with third Party Complaint Handlers to promote ease of doing business and to ensure risks are escalated & remediated.
  • Assist with renewal and onboarding due diligence on Coverholders and TPAs with delegated complaint handling authority across all business lines.
  • Undertake root cause analysis of monthly reports to ensure fair customer outcomes from our Coverholders and TPAs with delegated authority and report any issues to the Complaints Manager, Claims Managers and Underwriters, providing feedback and maintaining an issues log to ensure all action items are addressed.
  • Review Audit findings to assess potential risks and assist with remediation planning where necessary

To be successful in this role, you will need to have proven complaints experience as well as holding relevant qualifications to manage Irish consumer complaints as required by the CBI. Insurance and FCA / CBI regulatory experience would also be desirable. This role requires a proactive "doer" and self starter who can navigate ambiguity, challenge where appropriate, and ensure actions are completed to achieve successful outcomes. You will also need to be an effective communicator and see the value in building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
