BIM Lead for Industrial Construction, Northern Finland

Do you want to play a key role in ensuring BIM models support the successful delivery of a large-scale industrial construction project? Join our team of experienced industrial construction professionals.

We are looking for BIM lead to join major industrial construction projects

Your first project will be delivered in English, and most of the stakeholders on site will be from outside Finland. That is why we are looking for people who are comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment.

Employment details

Your primary workplace will be on site, and your first project will be located in the Oulu region. If you are open to travelling for future projects elsewhere in Finland, we can offer a permanent position. Otherwise, the role will be project-based.

This is a full-time position, and we hope you can start as soon as possible. That said, we would also be glad to hear from you if a career move may be relevant for you later this year.

What would your role involve?

In this role, you will be responsible for the BIM models used in our large-scale industrial project and for ensuring that high-quality models support progress from the design phase through to completion. As the project's BIM Lead, you will lead the BIM team, coordinate BIM-related activities across project stakeholders, and take overall responsibility for ensuring that BIM processes, models, and digital solutions effectively support project objectives throughout the project lifecycle.

You will lead the BIM team, ensuring effective collaboration and the smooth flow of information across the project. We value previous team leadership experience and the ability to motivate and support others in achieving shared goals. Through your proactive leadership style, you will foster strong teamwork, help prioritize key activities, and ensure the efficient performance of the BIM team.

You will work closely with designers and other stakeholders and produce quantity take-offs to support cost estimation, procurement, and scheduling. You will also serve as the project’s key user for Revit, Tekla, and Trimble Connect and, when needed, guide site personnel in the use of BIM tools.

You will plan how BIM models and digital solutions can be used as effectively as possible during the construction phase. You will identify, test, and introduce tools that support production, such as solutions for automated measurements, drone applications, and virtual models.

This role is an excellent fit for you if you enjoy varied work and are comfortable in an environment where several things are moving forward at the same time. You take ownership, know how to prioritize, and drive your responsibilities forward in a determined way.

With your strong collaboration and communication skills, you help ensure the smooth progress of the project and deliver your responsibilities to a high standard with a proactive approach.
