We are currently in the middle of an exciting procurement transformation, and now we are looking for a new colleague to take on the role as Procurement Lead Buyer. This is a commercially focused and hands-on position where you will be part of developing category strategies and driving sourcing activities across the packaging areas.

This is what you will do

In this role, you will be responsible for managing sourcing activities across the packaging area. You will develop sub-category strategies aligned with our overarching procurement ambitions and lead end-to-end sourcing projects including market analysis, tendering, supplier negotiations, and contracting. You will work closely with internal stakeholders across multiple functions and countries to secure value creation through supplier relationships and commercial solutions. In addition, you will contribute to our sustainability journey by involving suppliers in our decarbonization targets. Your tasks will also include maintaining data accuracy in systems such as ERP Systems and CMS systems.

You will be part of the procurement team within Cerealia Holding & Operations and report to the Procurement Category Manager for Packaging. The position is based in Stockholm, but other office locations that we have can be discussed. In this role some travel will be required.

Skills & Requirements

This is what you need to succeed

You have:

  • A university degree in business, engineering, law or a similar field
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in procurement or sourcing
  • Knowledge of retail packaging
  • Experience in end-to-end sourcing projects including negotiation and contracting
  • Basic understanding of contract law and supplier management
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (preferably M3) and procurement tools.
  • Good communication skills in English and Swedish

  • Basic understanding about how packaging machines work
  • Knowledge about paper and plastic materials used for packaging
  • Knowledge about Category Management
