We are strengthening ASIC Design Team in Murata Finland. Therefore, we are looking for a Senior Analog Design Engineer to join our team in Vantaa, Finland.

Murata Finland is developing leading edge gyroscope and accelerometer safety-critical sensors for global automotive, industrial and healthcare markets. We design full custom mixed mode ASICs from concept level to volume production including wafer level testing. Murata has flexible remote work policy and way of working can be planned according to your personal needs. The job includes on-site work, and part of it can also be done remotely.

Based on your experience and preferences in this position you have opportunity to focus and develop your skills in one of the following roles:

· ASIC Sr. Design Engineer role focusing on block level design and verification or

· Technical Lead role taking responsibility of a specific ASIC design area including leading a small sub team or

  • In analog technical lead role, you will take responsibility for a specific ASIC design area and become an expert on that. You work together with a small group of designers leading their design activities and providing support for them. As a technical lead you will also work closely with ASIC PM, other technical leads and stake holders in ASIC project.

· ASIC Project Manager role leading the work of entire ASIC project.

  • After you gain experience on Murata ASIC projects there is a possibility to take also a project manager role.

Your main responsibility areas are:

· ASIC specification and system description

· ASIC design, verification and reporting

  • Including modules like bandgap, LDO, PLL, ADC, DAC, different SC-circuits and high voltage circuits

· Characterization specifications and result analysis

· Support for production wafer test and result analysis

To be successful in these roles, these are the expected qualities and skills:

  • Technical education (e.g. M.Sc., Ph.D. or D.Sc.) with emphasis on microelectronics
  • 5+ years of experience in analog ASIC design
  • Understanding and knowhow of the common analog blocks such as:
    • VBG, LDO, amplifiers, ADC, DAC, oscillators, filters etc.
    • Basic understanding of digital signal processing
  • Know-how of both continuous and switched capacitor circuits
  • Experience of EDA tools and mixed signal design flows
  • Proactive, systematic and careful way of working
  • Fluent communication in English
  • Good communication skills to understand various requirements and communicate with external partners and internal teams
  • Innovative mindset and interest in working in an international environment
  • In addition to the skills mentioned above, the Tech Lead and PM roles also require task management skills, leadership abilities and experience on a technical lead role.
