Role Overview

The Marketing Executive plays an important role in driving profitable brand growth across assigned Asia markets by executing marketing initiatives with strong financial discipline, ROI accountability and executional excellence. The role supports both marketing and sales teams to deliver measurable brand, commercial and customer outcomes aligned to Asia and Global strategies.

The role focuses on key areas being:

  • Brand & campaign execution excellence, including asset, content management and delivery of local market packaging requirements consistent with global brand guidelines
  • Execution of marketing activations, including consumer‑facing programs and industry‑led events across assigned markets, in alignment with global and regional brand strategy
  • Commercial marketing support, including the development of trade presentations and customer pitch materials, supported by market, consumer and category insights.
  • Insights‑to‑action support, contributing to the gathering and application of market intelligence to improve campaign effectiveness, customer programs and in‑store activations.

Job Description

  • Support budget planning, phasing, tracking and reforecasting for assigned markets and campaigns.
  • Track marketing spend against approved budgets
  • Complete post‑campaign ROI reviews for key activations, identifying learnings and implementing agreed actions.
  • Work with all stakeholders to identify opportunities where investment can drive profitable growth.
  • Support the development and execution of marketing strategies, working closely with senior team members to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of regional and global initiatives, collaborating with teams to ensure consistent brand messaging.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of market-specific and customer-focused marketing campaigns across the region
  • Help create customized marketing materials for specific customer or market programs, ensuring they meet local needs and objectives.
  • Support continuous improvement of templates, assets and execution processes to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Prepare customer and key stake holder communication tools to support the sales leads and key account Managers.
  • Work with the key account managers and Country managers to support customer meetings, host grower visits, prepare for senior management and board presentations etc.
  • Generate content, aligned to the global brand and digital strategies for social media platforms, internal and external publications, etc. (i.e. LinkedIn, advertorials, etc.)
  • Assist with T&G presence in Trade Shows, assisting in all elements of corporate brand, visuals, collateral and logistics.
  • Work closely with the Asia route to consumer Manager to analyze available market data, import data and customer data to provide insight into total produce and individual category consumption, sales performance, in key markets.
  • Gather competitor analysis and retail trend analysis
  • Liaise with market-based data agencies/organizations where appropriate.
  • Collate all available and relevant data in a user-friendly archive system to be used as a knowledge hub.
  • Work with Regional Head of Marketing and Market Manager to analyze market, customer and brand performance data to support Insights‑to‑Action plans for assigned markets.
  • Support the delivery of sales and marketing initiatives, across brands, categories and the T&G business – aligned to Global & Regional strategies and plans.
  • Work with the Regional Head of Marketing to deliver projects and workstreams impacting the market where required
  • Be the integral execution support to the sales team to execute in-store activation and promotional activities with key retailers to drive sales rate uplift and distribution improvement. This is likely to include in-store sampling, placement of brand assets in store, development of specialty display presence in store, optimization of on shelf appearance and collection of key performance metrics such as sales rates, new customer acquisition, increase in foot traffic etc.
  • Ensure all appropriate actions are taken to assist with the implementation of the company’s H&S Policy and Procedures and given action

Skills & Requirements

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, business administration or related field.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in marketing, FMCG experience.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, copywriting, content management and event coordination.
  • Experience in working with local sales teams and customers.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proven experience in relationship building.
  • High level of numerical and literacy skills.
  • Demonstrable planning and organizational skills.
  • Experience working with grocery retail or FMCG activations across multiple channels (MT, TT, EC).
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin
