About the job

As an IoT Technical Support Specialist, you will be at the heart of our technical operations. You will act as the guardian of our service quality, proactively monitoring Tele2 IoT customer solutions, core services, and roaming network indicators to catch potential issues early.

This role is meant for you if you have:

  • Completed or actively pursuing a degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • At least, 1 year or more of experience in a technical support or customer-facing role, where a background in telecom or IoT will be considered an advantage.
  • Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, Grafana, Osix, or Kalix.
  • Experience working with ticketing systems as well as familiarity with incident severity frameworks.
  • Fluency in Latvian and English both spoken and written for daily communication with international customers, partners, and team members abroad.
  • Good understanding of mobile networks architecture and their operating principles.
  • Good customer service and communication skills combined with a high sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team while maintaining a self-motivated and proactive approach to tasks.
  • Good time management skills to effectively handle multiple tasks or incidents simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving technologies, procedures, and customer needs.
