We are seeking a motivated, well-organized and service-minded colleague to join one of our Customer Support teams in Arendal. This is a two-year temporary position starting in early fall.
Our Customer Support teams provide high-quality support to Underwriters and Claims Handlers as part of Gard’s worldwide marine insurance operations. You will join a friendly, skilled and energetic work environment.
YOUR PRIMAY FOCUS WILL BE:
- Processing and handling high-efficiency claims
- Managing claims payments and related transactions
- Responding to customer queries
- Maintaining a continuous focus on improving our services and practices
- Performing other claims-related tasks
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar and/or relevant experience is an advantage
- Accounting knowledge
- A structured approach to work, with strong attention to details
- Can work under pressure, is proactive and self-driven
- Is ICT literate and quick to learn systems and procedures
- Keen to build cross-functional competence and highly motivated to learn as well as share knowledge
- Self-motivated and a team player with an improvement mindset
- Has strong communication skills and cultural awareness
- A good command of spoken and written English is required
