Director / Senior Manager to Deal Advisory (Malmö, Gothenburg)

Are you an experienced Transaction Services professional looking to take the next step in your career? Do you want to play a key role in growing our Transaction Services practice while advising clients on some of the most exciting transactions in the Nordic market? KPMG Deal Advisory is looking for a Senior Manager or Director to join our Transaction Services team in Malmö or Gothenburg. This is an opportunity to combine hands-on client work with leadership, business development, and the continued growth of our regional practice.

The opportunity

As a Senior Manager or Director, you will lead Financial Due Diligence engagements across a wide range of domestic and cross-border transactions. You will work with private equity investors, large corporates, owner-managed businesses and other strategic investors, helping them make informed investment decisions throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Beyond leading engagements, you will play an important role in developing our business, strengthening client relationships and contributing to the continued growth of Transaction Services in the region. You will work closely with colleagues across Deal Advisory, including M&A, Valuation, Tax, Legal and other specialists, delivering integrated solutions that create value for our clients.

Your responsibilities

  • Lead and manage Financial Due Diligence engagements from planning through delivery.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to corporate and private equity clients throughout the transaction process.
  • Review financial performance, identify key value drivers, assess risks and opportunities, and deliver commercially focused insights.
  • Build, develop and maintain long-term client relationships while identifying new business opportunities.
  • Take an active role in business development, including preparing proposals, participating in pitches and expanding our regional client base.
  • Lead, coach and develop high-performing teams, ensuring quality delivery and fostering professional growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Deal Advisory and the wider KPMG network on multidisciplinary and international projects.

Skills & Requirements

  • Has 7–10+ years of experience within Transaction Services, Financial Due Diligence or a similar transaction advisory environment.
  • Has extensive experience leading due diligence engagements and managing client relationships independently.
  • Demonstrates strong commercial acumen and enjoys combining technical excellence with business development.
  • Is an inspiring leader who enjoys mentoring colleagues and building high-performing teams.
  • Has excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to present complex findings in a clear and commercial way.
  • Is fluent in both English and Swedish, written and spoken.
