About the position

As Finance Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting commercial decision-making through accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis and strong business partnering. Working closely with finance and operational stakeholders across Australia and New Zealand, you will contribute to budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis and continuous improvement initiatives that help drive business success.

Your main responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly management reporting packs, dashboards and financial analysis to support business performance reviews.
  • Analyse revenue, margins, operating expenses, working capital and other key financial metrics, identifying trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Support the preparation of annual budgets, rolling forecasts and long-range planning activities, maintaining robust financial models and assumptions.
  • Partner with operational and commercial teams to provide financial insights, support business cases, pricing analysis, cost reviews and other decision-support activities.
  • Assist with month-end close activities, including warranty provisioning, inventory valuations and other accounting tasks as required.

Skills & Requirements

A suitable background would be a solid experience within finance analysis, management accounting or commercial finance, as well as the following qualifications and experiences:

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business or a related discipline.
  • 2-4 years' experience in a Finance Analyst, Management Accountant, Financial Accountant, Commercial Finance or similar role.
  • Strong capability in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong working knowledge of Office 365.
  • Experience with ERP, BI or financial reporting systems is highly regarded.
  • CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification completed or currently in progress is desirable.
