Our product is built by teams based in Oslo and Gdańsk, working closely together to deliver a seamless experience for thousands of users every day.

The Oslo office brings together around 30 specialists across backend engineering, frontend development, QA and Data. In Gdańsk, we're a growing team of engineers working across frontend (web & mobile), backend and DevOps. As we continue to expand, we're looking for someone who wants to grow together with the team and help shape the future of our mobile applications.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a React Native Engineer, you'll join a mature product team developing mobile applications for users across the Nordic markets.

This is an active product development role where you'll build new features, improve existing functionality and help bring our mobile applications closer to feature parity with the web platform. You'll also contribute to keeping our applications modern by maintaining SDKs and dependencies.

Working in close collaboration with designers, backend engineers and fellow frontend developers, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of your work while learning from experienced teammates. We work in 3-week sprints and value open communication, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Your responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain React Native applications used across four Nordic markets.
  • Build new features and improve existing mobile experiences.
  • Maintain SDKs and dependencies to keep our applications up to date.
  • Collaborate closely with backend engineers, designers and product managers.
  • Work with GraphQL as the main communication layer between frontend and backend.
  • Contribute to maintaining a reliable CI/CD pipeline and application quality with tools such as Sentry.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute ideas that help improve our products and engineering practices.

ABOUT YOU

You're passionate about mobile development and enjoy building products that make a real impact on users. You're eager to learn, take ownership of your work and collaborate with experienced teammates in a supportive environment.

You have

  • Solid commercial experience developing mobile applications with React Native.
  • Good knowledge of TypeScript and modern mobile development practices.
  • Experience publishing and maintaining applications in the Apple App Store and Google Play.
  • Experience working with GraphQL.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a cross-functional team.
  • A proactive mindset, curiosity and a willingness to continuously learn and improve.
  • Availability for occasional travel to Oslo (1–2 times per year).

It's great if you also have

  • Experience with Expo.
  • Experience with CI/CD for mobile applications.
  • Experience using monitoring tools such as Sentry.
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field. If you've gained equivalent experience through your career, we'd still love to hear from you.

WORK MODEL & LOCATION

Our Gdańsk teams work in a remote-first model, combining the flexibility of remote work with regular opportunities to collaborate in person.

We believe that some of the best ideas come from working together. That's why this team meets in the Tricity area approximately once every two weeks to collaborate, share knowledge, solve challenges together and strengthen team connections.

CONTRACT

This position is offered as a 15-month fixed-term employment contract, created to support the continued growth of our mobile team and product development across the Nordic markets.

From day one, you'll be a fully integrated member of the team, working on business-critical products used by thousands of users every day.
