The Role of Store Manager at Lyko

As Store Manager, your key responsibilities will be:

• Providing all customers with a true WOW experience by always putting the customer experience first, both for yourself and for your team.
• Leading, coaching and developing your team to become the best version of itself.
• Running a profitable business with a business mindset by optimizing the store, resources and sales.
• Ensuring that Lyko's concept is followed by staying on top of campaigns and ensuring perfect signage and product displays.
• Ensuring the right staffing by scheduling and recruiting new employees when necessary

About the position
This is a permanent full-time role (37.5 hours/week) with a probationary period, starting in August or September. You will have varying working hours, including weekdays, evenings and weekends. You will report to Jonas Wennberg, Regional Manager in Sweden. The store, with a total area of 208 square meters, is located in the Sello Shopping center in Leppävaara, in Espoo's busiest urban city center right next to Leppävaara train station.

Who are you?
As the bright and positive Store Manager we are looking for, you know exactly what ingredients are needed to build the ultimate store and how customer experience and results go hand in hand. Your most important task is helping your employees succeed in the same way.
We would love if you:

• Have leadership experience within retail and experience in store operations.
• Have a genuine interest in coaching your employees and enjoy seeing others develop.
• Are structured and good at handling different tasks simultaneously.
• Can communicate clearly and simply so that the complex becomes easy — not the other way around.
• Are down-to-earth and enjoy working both high and low, from project management of supplier collaborations to working on the floor serving our customers.
• Are used to having responsibility for set KPIs and regularly following up on them with your team.
• Can speak and write fluently in Finnish and English.
