Main goal

The Guest Services and Protocol Expert within the Guest Management and Protocol team is responsible for planning and
delivering VIP services at a defined set of UEFA events as the VIP programme lead, ensuring that guest experience
standards, service levels and event requirements are implemented consistently and professionally.

With a focus on operational execution, the position-holder works closely with the Protocol and Guest Experience Manager and other competence centres to ensure that all VIP operations are delivered efficiently, cost‑effectively and in line with UEFA’s
expectations.

Key responsibilities

  • Planning and delivering the VIP programme at assigned events, including UEFA club competition finals, the UEFA Congress and competition draws
  • Operational planning for the VIP programme in cooperation with the Protocol and Guest Experience Manager
  • Tracking milestones and issues to ensure all planning deadlines and project requirements are met
  • Conducting working visits to assess and evaluate operational areas related to VIP programme delivery
  • Coordinating with Guest Services, Ticketing and other project teams to align operational set-up with event requirements
  • Coordinating internal staff and freelancers assigned to events
  • Leading the VIP programme on-site at designated events
  • Collaborating with other competence centres for seamless delivery
  • Developing, adjusting and adhering to standard operating procedures, including alignment with UEFA EURO standards
  • Managing documentation, updating operational files and presentations
  • Optimising operations for cost-efficient and effective delivery
  • Handling centralised administration tasks such as logistics and staffing
  • Conducting post-event debriefs, reporting, and compiling statistics, feedback and recommendations

Skills & Requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or sports management
  • 4–6 years of experience in sports and event project management
  • 4–6 years of experience leading guest experience programmes in the events industry
  • Strong project management skills and proficiency in CRM and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Word)

Languages:

  • Fluent in Englsih

Other requirements:

- Relocation to Switzerland/France is expected
