As a Marketing Automation Specialist, you'll play a key role in designing and optimizing automated customer journeys, helping us deliver more relevant experiences while driving loyalty and business growth.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for implementing, and optimizing automated workflows. Your mission is to enhance customer engagement, retention and operational efficiency through personalized and data-driven communication across multiple channels.

From translating business objectives into CRM campaigns to defining target audiences, building customer journeys, configuring segmentation, creating personalized communications, testing, launching and continuously optimizing performance, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end execution of marketing automation initiatives.

You will work closely with colleagues across marketing, UX, tech and analytics to build and scale smart, automated solutions—always with the customer experience in focus. From onboarding and lifecycle journeys to loyalty and post-stay communications, your work will make a tangible impact on our business and our customers.

You’re a strategic and hands-on CRM marketer with technical skills, a creative mindset, and a commercial approach. You understand how to balance data, design, and business goals to create communications that are timely, relevant and valuable.

You thrive in a dynamic environment and are always looking for new ways to automate, optimize, and improve the customer journey. You're comfortable navigating the Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) ecosystem—especially when it comes to dynamic content, segmentation, SQL, and logic-driven templates—and you're excited about exploring new orchestration, personalization capabilities, channels, and platforms.

As a person, you are outgoing, curious and enjoy connecting with people across the organization. You build relationships easily, thrive in cross-functional collaboration, and appreciate working with colleagues from different backgrounds and areas of expertise to achieve common goals.
Your passion lies in building long-term relationships with customers, using data to understand their needs and behaviors, and delivering solutions that are both smart and scalable.

Your key responsibilities will include;

  • Designing and optimizing automated customer journeys in an omnichannel setup.
  • Implementing data-driven, personalized communication based on triggers and behaviors.
  • Creating dynamic content and logic in SFMC templates, in close collaboration with UX, Content and Tech teams.
  • Running A/B tests and using analytics to continuously optimize performance.
  • Ensuring consistent and high-quality customer experiences across all touchpoints.
  • Staying up to date with trends in marketing automation, AI, personalization, and CRM technology.
  • Supporting segmentation strategies and campaign development with data insights.
  • Maintaining GDPR compliance and data privacy best practices.

Skills & Requirements

Experiences you bring and share with us

  • At least 3 years of experience in CRM or marketing automation roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and SQL.
  • Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud is a plus.
  • A background in loyalty marketing and/or the travel industry is highly valued.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
  • A proactive, analytical, and innovative mindset.

Information about the position

This is a full-time position within Scandic Group’s CRM & Marketing Automation team in the Customer Engagement department. You will report to Head of CRM & Marketing Automation.
