Position Summary:
The Production Data Analyst optimizes production planning and data collection supporting the development and maintenance of detailed planting schedules, yield reports and other information for multiple crops across multiple regions. This role collaborates with the Production Team and other key stakeholders and key departments—such as Finance and Harvesting to ensure efficient and timely execution of production and planting plans and delivery of required production volumes. Responsibilities include production data analysis, planting confirmation verification, planting schedule updates, maintaining accurate records, and historical data analysis for optimal production decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
·Maintain detailed planting schedules for all crop types in various regions, ensuring consistency in format and information. ·Collaborate with Production Team to plan and adjust planting schedules based on factors such as weather conditions, soil quality, and crop rotation. ·Monitor and analyze yield data, quality data, and market information to inform planting schedule development and production decisions. ·Distribute planting schedule updates and changes ensuring clear understanding and adherence. ·Seamless communication with Production, Harvesting, and Finance. ·Assist in the development of planting strategies that maximize quality, productivity, efficiency and sustainability. ·Maintain accurate records of planting activities, including dates, crop varieties, and quantities planted. ·Support the Production Team in executing special projects and initiatives related to planting and crop production. ·Generate and distribute comprehensive reports related to production activities and performance.
Analyze previous years of planting and harvesting data to identify patterns, optimal harvest varieties, and other key insights to inform planting decisions.
Qualifications:
·Minimum of 2 years of experience in agricultural planning, farm management, or a similar role.
·1-3 years of administrative experience.
·Strong understanding of crop management, soil science, and agricultural best practices.
·Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
·Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
·Strong analytical skills with a systematic approach to work.
·Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, knowledge of Access; willingness to learn Famous software on the job
·Bilingual in English and Spanish, highly preferred.
·Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in reporting and contract management
·Prior experience in agriculture, post-harvesting, farming, and/or grower accounting is preferred.
