We are looking for a Procurement Manager who is going to be responsible for the Vehicle Platform & Propulsion. This role requires technical acumen, exceptional communication, analytical and negotiation skills. A successful candidate needs to thrive in a pressurized environment using data and facts to help identify risks, manage resources, and solve problems quickly and effectively. A dedicated team ethic with the ability to interact at all levels in the organization and across business boundaries is required to be successful in this role.

You will:

  • Formulate procurement strategies, budgets, and policies while building a global commodity team to scale and ensure timely, cost-efficient program deliveries.
  • Lead global supplier relationships, scorecards, and strategic sourcing projects, including contract negotiations based on solid legal principles.
  • Develop market intelligence and procurement data management to monitor market conditions, forecast trends, and increase overall cost-efficiency transparency.
  • Manage product definitions, attributes, and specification cascades to align engineering requirements with sourcing activities.
  • Oversee program gateway delivery, generate performance metrics, and report on timing and cost status.

We expect you to have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Logistics, Procurement, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Extensive experience in global strategic procurement, combined with a business-oriented, customer-focused, and holistic approach to decision-making.
  • Passion for data analysis and visualization, paired with an open-minded and innovative approach that thrives in dynamic and uncertain environments.
  • A proven track record of acting as a caring, people-focused leader within the organization.
